~-godesdevin – my taste in food has changed and the staples of Atkins no longer agree with my body. I tried Induction several times and I was so sick, gassy, and constipated like you wouldn’t believe! The more fat I consumed, the less energy I had and the worse I felt. It was really frustrating. I know I can’t fully commit to the plan without the high fat consumption but I was not eating the sugar either. I’ve been low-carbing for a good 3 years now so it’s like I don’t know any other way to eat and lose. I had to learn something new so WW was my pick. It’s making me nutty because you have to watch portion control as opposed to Atkins. BUT!!! I am able to eat more fiber rich grains and that leaves me feeling better. I’m also not losing as fast as I did with Atkins and that’s a bore but as long as I’m losing I don’t care how fast or slow. I’ve made a few cool buddies on this site so I don’t want to stop posting just because I’m not low-carbing with Atkins. I still consider myself a low carber in that I’m not eating all the sugar, fruits, and junk but I have cut waaaaaay back on the meat and fats. My poor body is still adjusting to the change.
I think people in this thread still need a support but there aren’t many consistent people posting.

OOk i understand that. I think I am doing atkins wrong or not eating enough fat cause I am only losing like 2.5 pounds a week and with my size I think I should be doing better. I am going to continue to push on however.

I am going to try doing menu's now so that I can maybe eat better but its good to have people to talk to about everything

Default New to the AA Ladies Board

Hi Ladies! I joined the LC Forum a month ago and shortly afterwards fell back to my old ways. I went on vacation to an all inclusive resort and gained 9lbs in 5 days. Who does that??!! I'm so frustrated, disappointed, self-defeated and more importantly UNMOTIVATED. I just wanna eat, eat and eat.Today I did okay while at work but then came home and ate chocolate ice cream and donuts. I'm trying to remain positive. Tomorrow is a new day and I will continue to make an effort to remain on track. I've planned my meals ahead of time:

B: Fried egg, 2 slices turkey bacon
L: Salad
D: Chicken and cabbage

Wish me luck!

Now that you've gone past 2000 posts again, it's time for part 3, ladies.
