I know there is truth to what those doctors say and for many people eating that way does prevent and reverse heart disease, but I have another disease I need to prevent and that's the disease of obesity.

Have you read "Good Calories, Bad Calories"? I have nothing against veggies, but I have no reason to feel that rice and potatoes and fruit are healthy for me. Far from it! I don't feel there is much truth at all that eating those foods is the way to reverse heart disease. So why not just stick with LC which *is* good for all your heart markers!
